Our first recordings done in the basement of the Pool Party House (RIP) in Bloomington, IL by Adam Pressley (formerly of Bloomington's Ohtis/currently of Detorit, MI's Jamaican Queens (www.jamaicanqueens.com). At this point, we were kind of just doing the instrumental thing with a few exceptions. We flirt with a few different styles here, but I don't think we really found our sound until the next record. A couple of months later, our landlord declined to renew our lease and bulldozed the house to make the parking lot for the bar next door bigger. The bar's food is sub-par.
